I'm a filmmaker in North Carolina and last year our production company lost financial backing because the investor was afraid of the controversial content. <br /><br />After trying all of the legitimate ways of getting an independent film made, my friends and I have hatched a hair brained scheme. We decided to take the grassroots approach, so we're asking for a dollar from anyone that wants to see our film made. In return we'll thank every single person by name in the film.
